Now, just so everyone understands what's going on, Bulma had toġ: Figure out exactly what happened with the Gate cracking open on the Telepod, without access to the Pendant that was helping to cause it.Ģ: Figure out how to stabilize and use the GateĪnd depending on amount of time spent dicking around, she had at minimum half an hour to figure this out.īulma is the smartest motherfucker EVER, and is a better engineer/scientist then every single Cid from Final Fantasy put together. The Gate Key doesn't actually "open" the gate, according to Bulma, it just anchors it and prevents it from disappearing on us. The question of how to get home is raised, and Bulma reveals her technical genius with the Gate Key! She states that she's decided to name these distortions in space-time "Gates", leading to the name of Gate Key for what she's using to open them. There's also a save point at the entrance and I recommend using it, along with a Shelter, after clearing the area out.
We can get an Iron Sword there and play an organ that opens the secret door at the back of the area. This turns off the spikes in the center room so we can have a brawl against five enemy monsters. The second room is a large square area and can be somewhat confusing to navigate, so here it is-head to the right and push the skull switch. The first set is just a grueling battle, but the second set is tightly clumped enough that one Fire Whirl (the combo that Goku and Bulma have) is enough to take 'em out. Getting to the back is a bit of an involved process, as there's two sets of monsters that attack as soon as we can see them. Also, out on the balcony, we find a Steel Saber, an excellent weapon for Goku. In the bucket is another wonderful Strength Capsule. They tell us the Queen is in the back and also tell us about the Shrine. The skull switch next to it opens the way, and we find a couple of soldiers that the Naga in the break room was salivating over.
Back over on the left, we find a room where the door is surrounded by spikes.
